Ghost Hunt

Richland County is the Ghost Capital of Ohio. Don’t believe us; try out some paranormal investigation for yourself. That’s right! Clear Fork Resort has a few secrets of its own. Maybe the fact that the resort lies on grounds that once were hunting grounds for the local Native American tribes is why it’s haunted. Or maybe it’s the sinister stories of the great spirit of Mary Jane, a witch that was burned to the stake for practicing her witchcraft in the area. Could it possibly be one of the many deaths and murders by the old B&O railroad that passes nearby the resort? You decide, if you dare.

For $60 per person you receive access to the complete grounds of the resort with a guide helping you through the night.

The guide’s purpose is not to tell you stories or give you goose bumps or even tell you where you should walk as group but is there for your safety so that you can return the lodge unharmed.

Each ghost hunt starts at 11:00pm and even though can last through till 5:00am we don’t think you’ll last 5 minutes in these spirit filled woods.

If you do last till morning, rendezvous back at the lodge and enjoy a fresh continental breakfast with your choice of fruit, doughnut, yogurt, hot chocolate, coffee, and/or juice. Water and Soda are available throughout the night.

Check in begins at 9pm and everyone must be registered and checked in by 10pm. Orientation and resort rules meeting begins promptly at 10pm. in the Rental Shop. Everyone must be exiting the property by 6am.

Space is limited for each ghost hunt. Each hunt has approximately 30 people with two guides (Approximately 15 people per guide). All participants must be paid in full and pre-registered to participate in the ghost hunt.

Any changes to participant registration including but not limited to, name change, address change, etc. must be completed 24 hours prior to the date of the hunt and must be done by contacting the resort directly at 419-883-2000 ext. 670.
